Also, for those of you who haven't already heard me ask this today, any good recommendations for C and C++ reference books? I have recommendations for K&R (duh!) for C and Stroustrup for C++. Any other good ideas? I have reasonable experience in C -- I can write simple stuff in it, and read it, but I don't know all the little tricks (there's a bunch of shortcut syntaxes I always have to look up, etc.) and don't have a good coding style yet. I don't know any C++, nor have I done much OO programming. The first programming language I learned was Forth, and the languages I'm best in are Fortran 77 (simple & elegant like concrete overpasses) and MATLAB.
