Whew. Got through the first day of three back-to-back-to-back classes, and it's just going to get crazier. I've got a half-hour between the first two, but no time between the second, and the 12:30-starting class has a professor who won't let us eat lunch during class. So I guess I won't be eating lunch on Tues/Thurs. at all. Sigh. That means I have to get up in time to make breakfast, since I really shouldn't go until 2:30 pm without eating at all.
I only have to buy one book this semester. Yay! My finances are greatly improved by this, since I haven't bought a textbook that was less than $80 in years, and most of them are around $100. And there are a *lot* of better things I could do with that money. Like eat, and pay rent. And buy non-required books. I think I'm going to be ambitious and buy a copy of all of Archimedes' works in the original, and try to keep up my Greek that way. (Two of my profs spent a fair bit of class time praising the work of Archimedes today. Kind of strange, but par for the course around this department.)
*Yawn* I was going to feel disappointed that Fractal is going over to a friend's house for Buffy, and so I'll be having a very quiet night (since Catullus doesn't usually show up for Buffy anymore), but I think it'll be nice. I haven't eaten dinner in my own apartment since, hmm, last tuesday? Or possibly earlier than that. It's been a little hectic.
